Our Hong Kong hotel is a wonderful Gaudi inspired dream (Luxe Manor). It is a small, boutique hotel on Kimberly St in the Kowloon district, which has more of a local feel than across the harbor on Hong Kong island. Last night's dinner was overlooking the harbor at lovely Cafe Gray. We had the chef's tasting menu, which was five courses of delicious.
We spent the day strolling around the city and seeing the sights and walking through the alley markets and super elegant malls. The "high" light was taking the tram up to the top of the mountain that overlooks the city. It was a great experience, even though it was a bit of a smoggy day.
Lunch was dim sum at the Four Seasons hotel restaurant, which was the first 3 Michelin star Chinese restaurant. Tonight we are taking the Star Ferry across the harbor and hitting Bo Innovation, the 65th best restaurant in the world. It features molecular gastronomy, or Extreme Chinese! Going to spend an exciting night feeding my temple things it has never seen before. Hopefully, the chef's menu does not include chicken....
